Local Students Inducted into National Mathematics Honor Society
2012 May 14Several area residents were among The University of Scranton students inducted into Pi Mu Epsilon, the national honor society for mathematics. Inductees must be mathematics majors in their junior or senior year with an overall grade point average of 3.33 and a 3.50 average in mathematics. Biomathematics majors who meet the criteria can be nominated. The Jesuit university's chapter was installed in February 1973. The following area residents were inducted into the honor society.
