Christian Burne of Langley AFB Graduates from University of Scranton Honors Program

Christian Burne of Langley AFB graduated summa cum laude from The University of Scranton's Special Jesuit Liberal Arts Honors Program and theHonors Program, which is among the Jesuit university's programs of excellence. Students in the Honors Program pursue a rigorous education that stresses independent work through close engagement with professors and other honors students, including the preparation, presentation and defense of a research or creative project during their senior year.

A international studies and political science major, Burne's thesis was "United States - Ecuadorian Relations: A Study in Counternarcotics Operations and Policy", completed with the guidance of faculty mentor Michael Allison, Ph.D., associate professor of political science.
