William Giuliano of Verona Participates in Spring Break Service Trip

William Giuliano of Verona was among the University of Scranton students who participated in alternative spring break service trips in March that allowed them to work with the homeless, former gang members, children with disabilities, and others in need through service agencies throughout the country. Students volunteered at Mercy Home for Boys and Girls in Chicago, Illinois; St. Michaels Association for Special Education in St. Michaels, Arizona; the McKenna Center in Washington, D.C.; WorkFest in the Appalachian region of Kentucky; Homeboy Industries in Los Angeles, California; Francis Corps in Syracuse, New York; and St. Matthew School in Phoenix, Arizona.

Giuliano, a freshman in the Jesuit university's College of Arts and Sciences, volunteered at The McKenna Center in Washington, D.C..
