Sophomore Brittany Uricchio (Glastonbury, Conn./Glastonbury) was in the mood to lend a helping hand last week. The midfielder assisted on three of the Royals' goals and added one herself while helping the team win twice to extend its winning streak to six. As a result of her big week, Uricchio has been named The University of Scranton Athlete of the Week.

Senior Henry Bonilla of The University of Scranton men's soccer team has been named the Landmark Conference Men's Soccer Offensive Athlete of the Week.

Junior Keller McGurrin of The University of Scranton men's tennis team has been named the Landmark Conference Men's Tennis Athlete of the Week.

Jamie Hreniuk has been named The University of Scranton Athlete of the Week.

Five University of Scranton students participated in the National Jesuit Student Leadership Conference, held at Regis University in Denver, Colorado, this summer. The national conference, held at a different Jesuit University each summer, entails group discussions, a day of service and various workshops focused on furthering the development of students' leadership from a Jesuit perspective.
